Your information.
Your trust.
Last updated: 8 November 2026
This notice explains how GoStint handles information submitted through gostint.in. GoStint is an early-stage, project-based talent marketplace intended to connect students and emerging talent with businesses for defined short-term projects. At this stage, the website collects expressions of interest from students and enquiries from companies; submitting a form does not create an account, guarantee a project, or commit either party to an engagement. This notice is prepared with reference to applicable Indian privacy requirements, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the 2025 Rules, taking account of their phased commencement.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
For information submitted through this website, GoStint determines why and how the information is used. You can contact us about privacy, access, correction or deletion requests at hello@gostint.in. GoStint’s final legal operating name and postal address should be added here once its operating entity and business address are confirmed.
2. Information we collect
If you register student interest, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, city, college or university, degree or course, current year of study, areas of interest, skills, LinkedIn profile and portfolio or GitHub link.
If you submit a company enquiry, we may collect your company or organisation name, contact person’s name, work email, phone number, designation, company website, industry, project category, high-level project description, expected timeline and indicative budget.
We also receive basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as request time, browser and device information, and security or server logs generated by our hosting and infrastructure providers.
Please do not submit passwords, government identity numbers, financial account details, health information, student records, trade secrets, client data, source code, confidential documents or other sensitive information through these public forms.
3. Why we use this information
- To record and review student interest in GoStint’s talent pool.
- To contact students about relevant project opportunities and understand their stated skills and interests.
- To respond to company enquiries and understand project scope, skills, timelines and indicative budgets.
- To assess whether a potential project and talent requirement may be a suitable fit.
- To operate, maintain, troubleshoot and protect the website, prevent spam and respond to requests.
- To meet applicable legal obligations and protect legitimate business interests.
We do not currently use these form submissions to sell personal information or to run targeted advertising. We do not make automated decisions that determine a person’s legal rights through these forms.
4. When information may be shared
We may use service providers to host the website, store form submissions, deliver business notifications, maintain security and provide technical support. Based on the current website setup, these services may include Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database storage and Resend for company-enquiry email notifications if that feature is enabled. These providers process information to provide services to GoStint and should receive only the access needed for that purpose. Their own privacy and security terms also apply.
We will not make a student’s identifiable profile available to a company simply because the student has registered interest. If a specific opportunity appears relevant, GoStint should explain what profile information would be shared and obtain the student’s agreement before sharing it. Similarly, a company’s detailed project brief should not be passed to prospective students until the company has approved the information to be shared.
Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of GoStint, users or others.
5. Where information is processed
GoStint is intended to operate from India. Our infrastructure providers may process or store information in the regions where their services are configured. This can involve processing outside India. We will use appropriate provider safeguards and review applicable transfer requirements as the service develops. The precise hosting and data-storage regions should be confirmed in the provider dashboards before public launch.
6. How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this notice, including maintaining the talent pool, responding to a company enquiry, managing an active discussion and meeting legal or record-keeping obligations. We review stored information periodically and aim to delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed. A fixed retention schedule will be published once GoStint’s operating process is finalised.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
You can ask us to provide access to, correct or delete information you submitted, or withdraw permission for future contact. You can make a request by emailing hello@gostint.in from the address associated with your submission and describing the request. To withdraw permission for future contact, use the same email address and write “Withdraw consent” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out where permitted by law, and we may retain limited records where legally required.
8. Security
The website uses server-side form validation, restricted database permissions for public submissions and encrypted connections. Before public registrations open, GoStint must also configure bot verification, production firewall rate limits and restricted operator access. Public forms are intended to accept submissions only; they are not designed to provide public access to stored records. No website, database or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please share only the information requested and never send confidential business material through the initial enquiry form.
9. Children
GoStint’s student talent pool is intended for people aged 18 or older. If you are under 18, please do not submit personal information through this website. If we learn that a person under 18 has submitted information, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate steps to delete it where required.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as GoStint’s services, technology or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
11. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@gostint.in with the subject line “Privacy Request”.
This notice is a practical website draft based on GoStint’s currently described business model and the fields in its live forms. It is not a legal opinion. GoStint should have the final notice reviewed by an Indian privacy lawyer before public launch, and complete its legal operating name, postal address, data-retention schedule and actual provider-region details.
